SUMO - Color picker

Color picker is a basic tool to select / mix colors for e.g. feature / condition groups in SUMO's Heatmap Viewer:


SUMO's ColorPicker tool is an extension of a tool by Roy M Klever

Move the rings in the top color panels to adjust the color:

Text boxes on top show color values numerically
You may paste/type numerical values (0..255) into the text fields to define a color.

Click the  =>R  button to copy the present color to clipboard as RGB triple (e.g. "rgb(151,61,240)").
Click the  =>H  button to copy the present color to clipboard as HTML RGB triple (e.g. "color="#973DF0"").

Close the dialog, to pass the selected Color/Alpha/Palette to the calling application.


Capture a desktop color

Click the  DTC  button.
Move the mouse anywhere on the desktop.
Continuously, the desktop color at the tip of the mouse pointer is read and shown in ColorPicker.
 DTC  button shows the presently captured color as well as the text boxes showing numerical RGB-values.
Click ESC-key to freeze color capturing.


Custom color presets

The 29 panels at the bottom of the dialog may be used to store your custom color preferences.
Double click (left mouse button) to assign the presently set color - either manually adjusted ot desktop captured - to the respective panel.

In "desktop capture color" mode, press "A" key (= add). The desktop color at the mouse tip is assigned to a custum color panel.
After each "Add" the next panel is activated to retieve a new captured color. Left - right, top - down. When last panel is reached, next color is assigned to first panel, ...
Before "adding" of DCT colors, click any of the custom colors panels as start.


Manage your presets

ColorPicker can hold up to 10 custom presets (+ 4 default presets).
Use the combo-box Preset to color panels or manage your presets.
