TableButler - Scripting

Most functionality from TableButler may be scripted:

Use the Script-Tab to generate simple scripts combining the usually required actions., e.g.

• select all data files from certain directory
• generate diagnostic plots
• update annotations (Merge tables)
• resort only required columns (Rearrange columns)
• build matrix
• calculate averages from matrix
• filter columns
• rearrange matrix

Such a script ensures to always perform the same steps using the same parameters.

A script-name may be passed to TableButler via a command-line parameter.

Thus, a feault script may be executed by clicking a simple desktop icon.
